Instead of using a commercial design for their Christmas card, this year AMS Accountancy Ltd decided to challenge children at Lawn Primary School to come up with ideas.
Lisa Lane, who managed the project, contacted headteacher Chris Davis who was keen on the idea and invited her to meet Year 5 children to tell them about the competition.
“The children were excited at the prospect of winning some money for themselves and for the school,” said Lisa. “I think our clients will really enjoy receiving something different this year.”
Alesha Taser’s design was chosen as the winner and she received £25. Lawn Primary received a donation of £200 for participating.
Barbara French, partner at AMS Accountancy Ltd said: “The idea was very well received at Lawn and we’ve decided to do it every year. Alesha’s picture has a lovely Christmassy design to it.”
