Wiltshire Police is appealing for witnesses following a suspected fraud on a cash machine in Swindon.
Police were called to the cash machine outside the Rodbourne Cheney Post Office, Whitworth Road, Swindon, on May 26 2013 after a customer was unable to retrieve his bank card from the machine.
After forcing it out with some pliers, a device, which had been placed on top of the machine, fell away and also revealed a spy camera attached to the machine.
Pictured is a man that police would like to speak to in connection with this incident.
PC Kevin Payne said: "We would always advise people to remain vigilant when using any public using cash points.
"Things to be aware of are people waiting nearby, particularly in vehicles and who may be watching the cash machine.
"People should also be wary if their card is retained for no apparent reason, or if the machine suddenly displays that there is a fault. Also check for any small holes around the machine – even if it appears that they are merely missing a small screw this could be used to hide a camera.
"Always cover the keypad with your hand when inputting your PIN number even if no-one is stood next to you.
"If you notice anything suspicious contact Wiltshire Police immediately."
