As there is an ever increasing need to listen and respond to the voice of those who use health services, Healthwatch Swindon is running an exciting project for NHS England to work with GP Practices and their Patient Participation Groups.
The purpose of these groups is to increase patient involvement in reviewing and collecting patient feedback by working with together to help improve services. Practices are being encouraged by the NHS to develop these groups and will be working Healthwatch Swindon to run the project.
And, thisis where we need your help as we are aware that current Patient Participation Groups has been varied in the number of established groups, in their function and ability to influence.
Why do the survey?
As part of this process we need to understand how patient feedback is currently gathered and used in GP practices across the Swindon and Shrivenham area. We have put together a short survey to help us understand the current arrangements for collecting and using patient information.
The results of this anonymous survey will be available as part of the final report that will be published at the end of the project on the Healthwatch Swindon website
