There was a huge turnout of nearly 150 parents and grandparents to end Abbey Meads Primary School art week in early November.
From 4 to 8 November Gordon and Toni Dickinson worked with children to produce 14 large artworks in the style of famous artists to be hung around the school hall.
To end the week adults and siblings were invited to produce their own mini-artworks with pupils.
Headteacher Bob Buckley said: “There was a great response to our first art participation session. It was wonderful to see so many people being creative together at the same time.”
Toni added: “It’s been a super week with everybody involved. The teachers chose the themes to be worked on and the children listened closely to what we asked them to do and really had an enjoyable experience.”
