Arval, Europe’s leading fleet and fuel management company, has recognised excellent customer service as part of National Customer Service Week, the highlight of which has been the unveiling of a customer service King and Queen.
National Customer Service Week ran from 5-11 October and is designed to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays within an organisation. It is also an opportunity to say thank you to those who work in customer service for a job well done.
Employees from the Arval Contact Centre voted for the colleagues that they believe have demonstrated the most exceptional customer service over the past year. The male and female employee with the most votes were named customer service King and Queen.
In recognition of this, it was compulsory that the winners highlighted their achievement by wearing a crown and sash for the entire week. They were also rewarded with a free meal in the Arval restaurant, with their own table, waited on by their Team Leader.
This was just one of a range of activites that Arval ran for National Customer Service Week. There was also a treasure hunt, quiz, cake sale, bingo, fancy dress and prizes, with all funds raised going to the Tickled Pink breast cancer campaign. There was also the opportunity for customer service staff to receive a stress busting neck massage from a trained masseuse.
Angela Monatcute, Operations Director at Arval commented,
“Dealing with nearly 2,000 calls from drivers each day, high levels of customer service are crucial to our business and National Customer Service Week provides a great opportunity to recognise the excellent job that our employees do.”
