Arval, Europe’s leading fleet and fuel management company, has won the Fleet Service Award at the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards. The judges singled out Arval for the high standard of safety management for its own drivers and the company’s dedication to the improvement of the safety of customers.
Organised by RoadSafe, the Prince Michael International Road Safety Awards recognise achievement and innovations which will improve road safety. Each year the most outstanding examples of international road safety initiatives are given public recognition through the scheme.
Tracey Young, Fleet Manager at Arval, collected the award at a prestigious lunch attended by Ministers and road safety professionals. The event was hosted by HRH Prince Michael of Kent KCVO, patron of RoadSafe.
On collecting the award Tracey commented: “We put a great deal of focus into road safety and this award is testament to the hard work that we put in as a business on an ongoing basis.”
She adds, “Our aim is to proactively champion best practice to all Arval employees, customers and the wider community. These are our roads and we want to help make them safer.”
Dealing directly with over 1.2 million drivers on UK roads Arval take their road safety responsibility very seriously with the belief that education and awareness are key factors in improving road safety. To support this philosophy Arval has utilised a broad mix of channels in the last year to promote road safety.
