Following their record-breaking run of 13 performances with their last panto ‘Cinderella’, the popular comedy and music group Stage Struck are back at the Arts Centre with their latest offering ‘Babes In The Wood’.
Babes in the Wood tells the story of two children left in the care of their wicked uncle ‘The Sheriff of Nottingham’. He wants to steal their inheritance and hires two villains to take them into the forest and lose them. Fortunately Robin Hood and his merrie men are on hand to make sure everything turns out all right.
With Swindon favourite Ken Jell as the Dame the laughs are guaranteed.
Written and produced by Geoff Marsh the emphasis is always on the comedy. Geoff has been writing and producing pantos since he was sixteen.
"Panto is a great art form", said Geoff. "Stage Struck pantos have a traditional approach of pure family comedy and we hope everyone can come and enjoy that".
Babes in the Wood is also the only pantomime in a theatre in Swindon this year with a live orchestra, headed by musical director Andre Pysanczyn, and with choreography by Jane Marie Osborne.
So come along and get into the festive spirit… Oh Yes You Will!!!!!!!
