Swindon band Beatbullyz will get a huge boost in June when they will be seen on Channel 4’s Hollyoaks.
Band members – Bully, Disco, Bozo and Philonius Funk – won a national competition earlier in the year to perform in the series and spent a day in Liverpool on 6 May filming with cast members in the SU Bar, pictured.
Beatbullyz will be seen performing their winning track Keyz to Life and a video diary made of their day can be viewed on the Hollyoaks site: www.channel4.com/entertainment/tv/microsites/H/hollyoaks
Andy Bullimore, singer and producer from Peatmoor, said appearing on Hollyoaks was giving Beatbullyz great exposure. “Winning the competition coincided with the release of our latest album Rootz; it’s been a brilliant showcase for our work.”
The band also performed in the VIP suite in the prestigious new Gaucho restaurant at the O2 arena in mid-May. See band details and future gigs at: www.beatbullyz.com
