Mobile Cycle Medic heads for Paris for Macmillan
In recent years, local bike mechanic and cycling trainer, Lew Lawton has planned the route for the Macmillan Castles Bike Ride which attracts up to 500 riders and raises thousands for Macmillan Cancer Support.
In July it’s Lew’s turn to get on his bike for the London to Paris challenge. The 480 kilometre ride includes some testing hill climbs with one day cycling through Kent to Dover to catch the ferry to Calais, prior to three days great cycling through the French countryside.
The group, expected to be about 50 strong, finish their ride at the Eiffel Tower.
