Did you grow up in Swindon in the 40s, 50s or 60s?
Curious about how life, or your old neighbourhood, has changed?
Inspired by the recent Back to Black and White intergenerational, multi media project, Swindon Museum & Art Gallery are holding an open evening to give visitors a chance to look through the archive of photographs of Swindon taken by Albert Beaney during the last century.
This is the last in a series of events and will cover the following areas: Town Centre and Kingshill, Old Town and Gorsehill.
Susan Paisley, Museum Assistant said that previous Blast from the Past evenings have been successful. “People have really enjoyed seeing old photos of their area and people from that time and even spotting themselves and family members. It’s stirred memories and created a talking point. Don’t miss our last session!”
