Two blondes from North Swindon are planning to drive a car worth less than £100 across Europe and raise £25,000 for charity and are asking readers to back their banger rally bid.
On 20 September Tami Brown of Abbey Meads and Diana Sheperdson from Greenmeadow will be driving from Staples Corner, North London to Naples, taking them through five countries and over the Swiss and French Alps.
The girls are hoping that their 1995 Nissan Sunny will last the course and help them raise money for Cancer Research UK and the Chemotherapy Ward at GWH.
Tami, 23, was diagnosed with colon cancer aged just 21 and is now in remission. The fundraising challenge is her way of thanking all those who have given her and her family’s life back. The trip is her way of helping others who will be going though what she went though.
The team is seeking a corporate sponsor and donations. To help, see: http://thethreeblondes.co.uk/donations.html
