Most people now know of Google Street View, the fascinating digital navigational tool that has extended traditional two dimensional maps into 3D location photography.
Take a tour of the Swindon Link office at Basepoint Business Centre.
Now the system has been developed into Google Business Photos which brings Street View technology to create 360 degree panoramas inside your business premises to give people an online virtual tour.
The images give customers a better sense of the layout, decor and ambiance of your business, making you more easily accessible via Google search, Google Maps and Google+ Local. It’s a great way to show off retail outlets, restaurants, gyms, salons, offices even. It can also be used by charities to attract more members or users. All images go through Google blurring and privacy standards to ensure nothing untoward is shown.
In January Google announced that 100,000 businesses worldwide had adopted Business Photos in the first year since it was launched.
Swindon Link has teamed up with Google Trusted Photographer Matt Kaye to offer our advertisers and readers the chance to show off their business in stunning, clear images. “This is an amazing opportunity to allow customers to walk-through and explore your business,” said Matt. “The cost is quite modest and most important, signing up for Google Business Photos will boost your search ranking because the panoramas will be featured in many Google related search pages like Google+ Local.
Also it’s dead easy to embed the Business Photos link into your website with links to social networks, blogs, and email.”
