Swindon College will be holding an Open for Business Session for anyone who will be leaving school this summer and haven’t made up their mind about what they want to do next at the North Star site on Thursday 13th May, between 4:30pm to 6pm.
Business lecturers will be talking about the opportunities out there in the world of business, as well as the courses on offer at the College and most importantly the fantastic facilities available to existing students. The Open for Business Session will also be a fun packed session of activities and games linked to the world of business.
Maria Wilkinson, Business Team Leader said: "We want to get the message across to school leavers that studying Business can be fun as it is a very varied course with many different subjects covered."
"As a student, you will have a great time studying at Swindon College, learn a huge amount in the process and leave us with a qualification to start a career in almost any area: marketing, event management, accountancy and finance, law, banking, hospitality, leisure and tourism, environmental health, retail, communications, transport, public sector or even start your own business!"
"The courses which are on offer, such as the Level 2 and 3 BTEC National Diploma in Business are equivalent to three A Levels which means that when students complete the course, they can go into higher education or employment."
Anyone who is interested in attending the Open for Business Session is invited to log on to www.swindon-college.ac.uk, click on the news link and register to let us know they are coming to the event and their details will be entered into a free prize draw.
