An important organisation that supports those who care for others on a voluntary basis has found a new larger home in Wood Street.
The Swindon Carers Centre (formerly known as Focus on Carers and Self Help) has made the move in advance of the redevelopment of the town centre which will see demolition of its old Morley Street premises.
Mal Jones of Swindon Carers Centre said, "we are indebted to Peter Barefoot of Alder King, who handled all the negotiations of the contract on our behalf and also provided office planning for the final fitting out. "Ian Gamble and Peter Yates of Zurich Financial Services also gave us invaluable support on project planning, health and safety, telephones, budgets and general move management."
