End of term party in aid of Swindon’s cancer and leukaemia children’s charity CALM.
Celebrate ‘Schools Out’ at Kidz About with an end of term themed party complete with a Kidz Disco & Karaoke, BBQ, Bouncy Castle, summer themed games & a raffle on Friday 26 July, 6.30pm to 8.30pm, in aid of Swindon’s cancer and leukaemia children’s charity, CALM.
You’ll also be able to catch a performance from local ventriloquist, Kieran Powell, who starred on ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and was described by Simon Cowell as ‘having the start of something really special’ with his musical puppetry.
The event is open to children aged 0-12yrs, or 4ft 9inches with children below the age of 1 admitted free. All children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Additional adult tickets are limited, therefore will be supplied on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are now on sale, priced at £6 per child (includes 1 adult) and additional adult tickets can be purchased for £1; however customers are warned that this is a ticket only event. To purchase tickets either visit Kidz About, or phone 01793 524646.
All proceeds from the event will be donated to CALM (Cancer and Leukemia Movement) (www.calmcharity.org) an independent local charity, that’s ran by parents who’ve all experienced what it’s like to have a child diagnosed with Cancer. CALM helps and provides support to families that have a child receiving treatment, sharing joys and successes as well as the through the tougher times.
Kidz About Marketing Manager, Clare Milton commented “This is a great way for families to celebrate the end of the school year, and to reward children for working hard, we’re looking forward to putting the party on, and raising money for a great local charity”.
