Connoisseurs of gastronomic cuisine will be treated to a sensuous feast when TV celebrity chef James Martin displays his culinary skills at a series of cookery demonstrations in Swindon next month.
Appreciative gourmets of fine food are set to flock to the Brunel Centre for James Martin’s demonstration on Thursday 4 April.
The event will be the highlight of an ambitious four-day programme designed to give a further boost to the Centre as a favourite shopping venue.
Although details are still being finalised, plans include lots of ideas to give food for thought and whet the taste buds, including DIY skills workshops; food tasting sessions and cookery exhibitions by several local restaurants.
Kerry Hunter, marketing supervisor at the Brunel Centre, said: “We’re really excited that James Martin is coming to the Centre. We’re expecting it to be a great day which will really appeal to our customers.
:We wanted to put together an event that would capture people’s interest, and we’re sure that James Martin will be really popular with shoppers.”
Brunel Centre owners First Investments commit to more events in the town centre
In January this year property managers First Investments announced that the marketing budget for the Brunel Centre had been increased as part of a bid to attract more visitors and increase occupancy rates. This event is the first in a series scheduled to encourage people to explore what facilities the Centre has to offer.
