Michael Wills, MP for North Swindon has organised a public meeting with Brian Moore, Chief Constable of Wiltshire Police to allow residents to discuss their concerns about policing in Swindon and how anti-social behaviour is being tackled.
Representatives of Swindon Borough Council have also been invited to attend.
The meeting takes place on Friday 16 May, 6.15pm in the Church of Christ the Servant, Abbey Meads Village Centre, Elstree Way, Swindon.
Michael said, "although crime is falling, Swindon is unfortunately still blighted by anti-social behaviour and effectively targeting this problem depends on a coordinated approach and action from elected officials, the council, residents and police.
"I have organised this meeting to provide a place for dialogue with residents about their concerns about anti-social behaviour and policing in the town and to hear residents’ views about how problems in Swindon can best be addressed. I hope residents will feel able to attend on 16 May."
