The centenary of the outbreak of World War I and the D-Day landings of 1944 will be themes of Swindon Trauma Group’s Annual Conference.
The event takes place on Friday 6 June, the 70th anniversary of D-Day, from 9.15am to 5.30pm, in the Uffington Suite at Swindon Marriott Hotel.
The programme looks beyond the mud and filth of the Great War and focuses on what was then called shellshock and the treatment of post traumatic stress disorder today.
The cost for the day is £50, and there is an optional set three-course evening meal at £25 per person. To book a place, contact: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Proceeds after expenses will go to STG and a donation to the local branch of Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide.
