Swindon Croquet Club has re-opened for the summer and now has a clubhouse funded by a grant of £42,600 from Sport England Inspired Facilities fund.
The club house at Moredon Playing Field, Cheney Manor has been named after club stalwart John Airey from Grange Park in recognition of his 25 years service.
Members play regular league competitions and there ares eight coaches to provide training for beginners through to experts.
Members also work with disabled adults and children.
