On Wednesday 18 September, the most recent addition to the dinosaur Zoo will tear through Swindon’s town centre.
The carnivorous theropod, known as the Australovenator, is the most complete meat-eating dinosaur skeleton yet found in Australia – but people in the town centre won’t be confronted with a skeleton, but a fierce life-size replica
“Shoppers might be surprised on Wednesday when they see a giant dinosaur parade through the town centre,” said BID Manager Rebecca Rowland. “This is a very unique and a fantastic opportunity to see the character and a great chance to support the Wyvern and their upcoming show Dinosaur Zoo.”
Direct from Australia, Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo brings awesome pre-historic creatures to the Swindon stage from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 September. Audiences will be invited to meet cute baby dinos and teeth-gnashing giants up close and personal.
“Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo gives audiences the opportunity to interact with these extraordinary life-like dinosaurs,” said Richard Loftus, the Wyvern Theatre’s Marketing Manager. “I have been fortunate enough to see the show at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre – it is highly entertaining and extremely imaginative…not to mention a little bit scary!”
This dinosaur-some live show will run at the Wyvern Theatre, Swindon, from Wednesday 18 to Friday 20 September. Book tickets to see Erth’s Dinosaur Zoo at wyverntheatre.org.uk or by calling the Ticket Office on 01793 524 481.
