Easter wouldn’t be the same without the Easter Bunny – and The Brunel, in Swindon’s town centre, will be welcoming this very special guest to the shopping centre every day from 5 April until Easter Sunday, 19 April 2014.
On Saturday 5 April the Easter Bunny will be making his entrance to Swindon in style, on a horse-drawn cart through the town centre. At 10.30am he will arrive at the Town Hall and will then make his way down Regent Street and Canal Walk to his special garden, positioned on the first floor of the Brunel Plaza.
Throughout the Easter fortnight, children can visit the Easter Bunny in his garden and receive an Easter egg.
Opening times are Monday to Saturday 11.45am until 5.30pm and from 11.45am until 4pm on Sundays. The cost is £4.50 per child for a visit with the Easter Bunny and includes an Easter egg, certificate and a photo opportunity.
Every day between 10am and 11.30am, the Easter Bunny will be hosting brunch at The Brunel’s newest cupcake specialist and café, Mrs Allison’s Bakery.
There is a £9.75 charge and children can enjoy a sandwich, crisps and drink with the Easter Bunny and take part in storytelling and have a go at decorating a bunny biscuit.
To reserve a place ring: 01793 487150 or 07909 505559 or call in to Mrs Allison’s Bakery which is situated on the first floor of the Brunel Plaza.
Jane Stewart, Marketing Manager, said: “Easter is a great time at the Brunel and we’re delighted to have the Easter Bunny join us for two weeks in the run-up to Easter Sunday. I’m sure children will enjoy meeting him, getting their eggs and having their photos taken.”
