The hunt is on for family shoppers to find Easter stickers at Sainsbury’s Bridgemead and win prizes as part of a special seasonal fun-day.
For the first time, the West Swindon store on Ashworth Road will be inviting families to take part in an Easter Egg Hunt Challenge from 10.30am to 5.30pm, on Saturday 12 April. The egg-citing search will task participants with finding special floor-stickers with clues on which aisle to go down next.
Children who complete the aisle-adventure can take away either choc-tastic ‘by Sainsbury’s mini eggs’ or a ‘by Sainsbury’s piece of fruit’ as their prize. It’s one of a number of fun-filled treats taking place at the store, one of only 10 stores across the country to exclusively hold the egg-hunt.
On the day, families can also try their hand at making fairy cakes. A team of cake-making masters will be holding a class throughout the day, using the recipe from Sainsbury’s fairy cake recipe card, which will be available for customers to take away and try at home too! Children taking part can also personalise their fairy cakes, with a variety of cake decorations available to help give them that Easter factor.
To remember the fun-day, a special Easter-themed backdrop will be set up at the front of the store where families can have their photo taken.
This Easter the store has a range of delicious products, including, for the first time, the retailer’s own range of ‘by Sainsbury’s Eggs’ with five available – the by Sainsbury’s ‘Eric the Elephant’ Egg, a ‘Jelly Beans Egg’, ‘Fizzy Belts Easter Egg’, ‘Rainbow Buttons Egg’ and ‘Caramel Egg’, all priced at just £1.25 or 3 for £3.
Sainsbury’s Bridgemead Deputy Store Manager Kevin Lambert said: “We’re really looking forward to giving our customers an Easter to remember, both with our fun-filled events and great range of seasonal treats. We hope lots of our customers join in the fun on Saturday 12 April”.
