The award-winning national Enterprising Women business network is on tour with the Realise your Potential roadshow, a series of inspirational free one-day events created to help unlock female enterprise potential.
Enterprising Women’s business director Eileen Lennon, well known for her work in women entrepreneurship and social enterprise for almost 20 years, will be hosting each event. She said: “These workshops provide practical support that women in business can take away and put to work immediately, whether planning a new venture, or getting an existing one right where they want it.
“All the content is based on real experiences in women-owned and run businesses. From managing multiple roles at the same time as running the business, to winning when it comes to accessing funding, it’s all the more effective for the shared experience of working with peers on the day.”
From start-ups to serial entrepreneurs, the experiences of hundreds of women in business have contributed to the content of these one-day workshops. For women considering starting a business, or in the early stages of a new business venture, the result is to leave women feeling stronger and better equipped to unlock their full enterprise potential.
Amanda Barlow of Spiezia Organics and owner of two south west-based hotels confirms a rich source of inspiration through Enterprising Women added: "Excellent presenters provided really great tips and ideas. Getting out there and meeting inspiring local women in business has been wonderful, and the opportunity to exchange views and discuss issues in a confidential environment has been unbelievably helpful."
Realising your Potential starts in Plymouth and then takes place in Torquay, Swindon, Bristol, Exeter, Taunton and Salisbury throughout November. There is no cost to attend the workshops and refreshments are included.
