Then look no further than the Swindon Arts Centre! We have a great variety of events for you all to enjoy such as a spectacular stage performance of The Ugly Duckling.
The Ugly Duckling is at the Swindon Arts Centre on Tuesday 10 April at 1pm. This is a perfect choice for the children to enjoy a wonderful story with some talented performing. The story is based on the much-loved tale by Hans Anderson. Why not bring the children and join us as we follow the Ugly Duckling on his eventful journey. There are plenty of characters for you to enjoy and meet throughout this production. You will be meeting Mother Duck and her pretty ducklings, the farmer, the nasty hunters, the Farm Cat, Drumstick the turkey and many more.
If all those characters don’t draw the children in then the colourful costumes, comedy and music will help them enjoy this wonderful afternoon out. There are also chances for everyone to get involved during the performance. We say everyone because adults you are sure to enjoy this production along with the children and want to get involved. Don’t miss out on this spectacular family production, which will provide fun for ALL the family from 3 to 93 – granny included!

The Arts Centre knows just how much children want to do during Easter and sometimes the money just won’t stretch that far. That is why we are offering Free films for everyone to come and watch. That’s right, no strings attached, just come along to the Arts Centre and watch a film with the family and it will cost you nothing. The films are being run from Monday 2 April to Thursday 5 April. We have tried to include films for a variety of ages, you just need to turn up on the day and take a seat in our newly re decorated auditorium.
