Curves, Redhouse village centre’s women-only gym, is excited to announce a brand new twist to their fitness offering in the form of Curves Circuit with Zumba Fitness classes.
Curves’ unique workout and weight management plan has proven benefits in cardiovascular fitness, muscle toning and strength, as well as joint flexibility. With the addition of Zumba’s high energy, Latin-based dance moves, the motivation and fun factor of exercising cranks up a few notches.
Curves Swindon manager Kathryn Steele is excited about the link-up between Curves and Zumba Fitness. “If you’ve lost touch with your New Year’s resolution, this amazing workout is just for you. It’s suitable for all ages, fitness level and dance abilities and you can burn up to 500 calories in just 30 minutes.”
The classes at Curves are led by qualified Zumba instructor and well-known local dance teacher Pollyann Tanner. To allow time to enjoy the Zumba moves, the Curves Circuit with Zumba uses one-minute intervals between the different exercises instead of the usual 30 seconds and are proving very popular.
