MANY people haven’t mentioned this but I would just like to say what a great captain Troy has been this season.
He is always able to lift the boys up during a meeting if things are going horribly wrong and always puts in great performances, even if he is feeling a little under the weather like he was on our second visit to Wimbourne Road.
He also wears the Robin with pride and puts in 100 per cent of his time and effort in ensuring the Robins get maximum points from any meeting.
What more could you ask for in a captain?
I don’t think I’m alone on this one but I would dearly love to see Batch back at Swindon next season and in truth he probably wouldn’t want to ride for anyone else.
Over the last few season since rejoining in 2012, he is certainly a firm favourite amongst the Robins supporters.
He has had an up and down season, it has to be said, but I have no doubt that the highlight was his 20 point haul in Copenhagen.
Everything went right for him that night from setup to riders moves on the track.
So that’s just quick reflection on Troys season in my own opinion.
