SMEs in the Swindon area are invited to attend a special Christmas themed ‘Networking Hub’ on 5 December at Basepoint Swindon.
Local businesses in the area will be familiar with the networking opportunities at these events, but this time, are invited to get into the Christmas spirit with the special entertainment lined up after the first guest speaker’s appearance.
Guest speaker, Nick Stevenson of Wereuse – a company that disposes of IT equipment through a ‘reuse’ process rather than a disposable process – will kick off the event with a talk about how companies can improve their Corporate Social Responsibility strategies by giving refurbished IT equipment to charitable projects.
Entertainment will be provided by Bill Masters, professional magician and owner of Magic Masters, who will be demonstrating his ‘Laser Shooting Simulator’ and inviting attendees to try out the ‘magical’ equipment for free.
Lyn Chapman, centre manager at Basepoint Swindon, commented: “We hope everyone is feeling festive, because we have some great entertainment lined up for our Christmas hub. Attendees can expect fun, advice, and most importantly, lots of time to network! It’s set to be a fantastic event, and we look forward to seeing everyone there.”
The event is taking place at Basepoint Swindon on Wednesday 5 December from 12pm – 2pm. Attendees will also be provided with light refreshments – all free of charge.
