On Saturday 17th December, Bloor Homes and Miller Homes unveiled their new showhomes at Angel Ridge: an exclusive development situated on the grounds of the now-departed Princess Margaret Hospital.
Iffy Onuora, Swindon Town FC’s manager, officially kicked-off the weekend’s proceedings, cutting the ribbon at Bloor Homes’ showhome. Throughout the weekend, homeseekers also enjoyed Christmas fare with free festive gifts for children. “We’re delighted with the success of our launch weekend,” smiled Lorraine Palmer, Sales Director from Bloor Homes. “Many people attended and everyone was impressed with how Angel Ridge is taking shape.”

“The response was amazing,” agreed Jane Grant, Sales Director for Miller Homes. “We’re already discussing possible purchases, and it’s not difficult to see why. Angel Ridge offers beautiful properties in a location that affords stunning hilltop views of the surrounding countryside.”
As Lorraine explained, Bloor’s showhome – The Melksham – promises an impressive taste of life at Angel Ridge: “The Melksham is ideal for families of any size. Its ground floor is home to a wide and long lounge, spacious dining room and kitchen, while four good-sized bedrooms, plus a bathroom and ensuite await upstairs. The design meets every possible living requirement.” Meanwhile, Miller Homes’ Westcott four-bedroom, three-storey townhouse showhome proves equally impressive. “The Westcott is a perfect family home,” said Jane. “It boasts a large living space on the ground floor, while the first floor also sports an expansive living room.”
With the showhomes complete, Bloor Homes and Miller Homes are busy building the remainder of Angel Ridge, which will feature properties ranging from two-bedroom apartments to three and four-bedroom homes. The construction plans also reveal the developers’ desire to deliver a location beyond compare. At the development’s centre will reside an attractive landscaped square while a sunken garden will serve as the final resting place for Princess Margaret Hospital’s foundation stone.
“Although memories of the hospital remain throughout Swindon, our thoughts are fixed firmly on the future,” confirmed Jane. “The location will soon play host to a winning selection of attractive homes and quality amenities, including a doctors surgery and a care home for the elderly.”
Lorraine echoed Jane’s sentiments: “From single people and couples to small and large families, the location promises to match every need and taste. That’s why, with the development attracting such huge interest, I strongly recommend homebuyers discover Angel Ridge for themselves.”
