North Swindon arents will be able to ask questions and find out about the way the new primary school at Tadpole Farm will be run at an event on Thursday 21 November.
The school, which is due to open to 60 pupils in September next year, will be run as an Academy by the Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust, and will help tackle a shortage of primary school places in North Swindon.
The drop-in session will allow parents to learn about the school’s ethos and the building itself, and will run from midday until 6.30pm in the Parliament Room at the Tawny Owl pub in Taw Hill. During the event there will also be two formal presentations at 12.30pm and 3.30pm.
Members of the council’s schools admissions team will be on hand to help with questions and information about applications for places at the school.
Swindon Borough Council recommended to the Department for Education that the Diocese of Bristol Academies Trust should run the school. The DfE confirmed this in September.
