Cricklade Leisure Centre is holding a Fitness Fun Day on Saturday 5 February 2011, in memory of a dear friend and colleague who passed away on the 9 January 2011 after a short illness. Lesley Hogg was only 38 years old and lived in Swindon with her husband and children. She was part of our enthusiastic fitness instructor team and taught many lessons at the centre including Pilates, Yoga and dance based classes, she was also well respected by our more mature customers who enjoyed her mobility sessions and by her therapy room clients, where she massaged away their aches and pains.
Lesley previously taught classes at other fitness centres in the area including DW Sports, Blunsdon House Hotel and David Lloyd.
The Fun Day will run from 10am to 3pm, there will be 30 minute sessions run by her fellow fitness colleagues, anyone of any ability can join in: Pilates, Family Street Dance, Boxercise, Aqua Aerobics and more, everyone is welcome, so come along, join in your favourite or try something new.
All we ask is a minimum donation of £5 for the day, you can join in as many classes as you wish, every penny raised from this event will go to Lesley’s family and their chosen charity, The Prospect Hospice.
Please help us to make it a great Fun Day and wear something Pink if you wish.
