Every dog will have its day at Westonbirt's 'Dog Days' weekend of fun and frolics. From 20 to 21 February, there will be endless opportunities for you and your dog to shine, including the regional heat of the Scruffts cross-breed dog show.
Whether dog owner or dog lover, you'll enjoy the Dog Olympic Games and the Kennel Club's 'Good Citizen Scheme' testing. On Sunday, there's a display from the ever-popular Swifts Fly Ball team, and if you're feeling energetic Cani-X will send you and your dog off on a 2.5km or 4km run through Silk Wood.
Enter Scruffts and your prized pooch might even make it through to the national final at London's Earls Court. There's no need to register in advance for Scruffts, just go to the information stand on the day. And if that's not enough doggie delights, Lynne Davies from the BBC3's Dog Borstal will be giving a training display and advice on dog behaviour.
Dog Days at Westonbirt Arboretum: 10am to 4pm, adult £7, conc £6, child £3 (including entry to the whole arboretum).
