Kelly Rowlands is organising a big fundraising event to raise money to send seven year old Jamie Jenkins to America for specialist support.
Seven year old Jamie from Eldene is severely autistic with a vocabulary of ten words and his parents want him to experience the Sunrise programme in the USA to help improve his communication skills.
"Jamie has inspired me to help," said Kelly. "It would be so amazing for his mum to hear him say 'I love you."
The cost of ending Jamie to the USA is £13,000 and Kelly is hoping the fun day on 23 August from 11am, at the White Hart Pub, Oxford Road, Stratton, will make a big impact on the total.
Attractions include live bands Penfold and Sister-Sister, a bouncy castle and slide, mini-quad bikes, kids' attractions and an evening karaoke.
