Following her romantic paranormal thriller Eternal Love and Protection in 2009, West Swindon based author Emma Taylor has published her second book, this time on the theme of vampires.
It’s written through the eyes of a young vampire boy who gradually comes to discover his powers and battles with the need to retain his secrecy and co-exist amongst normal human beings.
“In Autobiography of a Vampire, the boy’s father is also a vampire and the story of his life and the rules about co-existence are explained. It’s quite a fast-paced read with hints of horror suitable for the older teen,” said Emma.
She dreams of becoming a full-time writer and is keen to help young writers by giving talks to school groups on how to go about writing a book.
“I find writing a very natural process, but have to fit it around work commitments,” she said. Nevertheless Emma is half way through her third novel on the theme of spiritual energy. “This is the one I’m really excited about” she said.
