Family and friends are working hard to raise money to prolong the life of Natasha MacDivitt, 27, who was given a year to live in November.
She was diagnosed with cervical cancer a few years ago and she was cured after intensive treatment. However the disease has returned with vengeance and has spread to her lungs, spine and hip.
Sister-in-law Danielle MacDivitt said: “We are now all going crazy trying to spend as much time together as possible and raising money so that Natasha and her husband Danny can make lots of super memories together for the children.
“We are also raising funds for vitamin D treatments not available through the NHS which could potentially give her a few more months.”
The pampering and discount shopping evening at Nova Hreod School, Akers Way, Moredon takes place on Friday 1 February, 6.30pm to 7.30pm. Entry costs £2. There will be a wide range of stalls offering treatments, jewellery, health and fitness products.
