Thamesdown Transport and Stagecoach West have joined forces to offer Swindon bus users an irresistible deal to help cut costs and ring in the New Year.
Until 5 February the two companies will be offering their joint seven day TravelPass Plus for just £10, instead of the usual price of £15.
This ticket allows unlimited travel on all Thamesdown and Stagecoach services within Swindon and as far out as Highworth, South Marston, Bishopstone, Wanborough, Liddington, Chiseldon, Wootton Bassett, Purton and Cricklade. It is available to buy on the buses from the driver or from Thamesdown’s travel shop in Fleming Way or the Stagecoach Travel Shop in Swindon Bus Station.
The offer also means a great saving for those who just travel within the town’s inner and outer fare zones on the standard seven day TravelPass, which is normally £13.
Paul Jenkins, Managing Director of Thamesdown, explained: “With Christmas credit card bills about to drop through our doors, the VAT increase and rising costs of other essentials, cheaper bus travel is sure to be a welcome cut at this time of year.”
Ian Manning, Managing Director of Stagecoach West, said: “There has never been a better time for people to sample the benefits of bus travel in the Greater Swindon area at a very economical price and to see how flexible the TravelPass Plus is in meeting their needs.”
