A free Intellectual Property (IP) Advice Clinic is being held at the Central Library on Wednesday, 25 August from 2pm.
An expert will be on hand to answer any questions relating to trademarks, patents, designs or copyright.
The half-hour bookable sessions will also help people understand the different types of intellectual property, how to protect inventions and brands, how to commercialise intellectual property and how to avoid problems with third party intellectual property rights.
Previous sessions have received excellent feedback from those who attended.
