A not for profit blues festival, with all proceeds going to Macmillan Cancer Support.
An evening of high voltage English Blues, featuring some of the best international, national and local blues bands including:
The Blues Band. World renowned legends of the blues for 25 years, featuring the full original line up of Paul Jones (BBC Radio 2 Blues show presenter) Tom McGiness, Dave Kelly, Gary Fletcher & Rob Townsend.
The Eddie Martin Band – International acclaimed Harmonica and Guitarist (Eddie is based in Frome & just released a cracking new album )
The Oli Brown Band – Britain's finest young Blues Guitarist, from Norwich (Release new album June 9th)
No Mean Feat – Foot Stomping Rhythm & Blues band from Bath
Just Jim & Hiproute – Excellent Singer songwriter from Swindon, supported Carvin Jones / The Hoosiers.
Will Blake – Young Derry Hill Lad (15) plays boogie woogie piano like the best of them.
The event take place in an equestrian barn, dressed especially for the occasion with state of the art sound and light systems, so will have all the atmosphere of an outdoor event with the added bonus of a roof, should the weather turn unkind. The barn can hold 500 people so tickets are restricted making this quite an intimate occasion for an outdoor event.
As well as outstanding music, there will be a real ale bar, and an onsite Indian Restaurant, run by the Spice of Bengal in Calne.
Gates open at 4.30pm, with music from 5.30pm till 12.30am.
