Life in Wiltshire’s Victorian Workhouses will be the subject of a talk at the Central Library next Monday (31 March).
The talk, which starts at 1pm, will focus on what life was like for those living and working in Wiltshire’s Victorian Workhouses.
Margaret Moles, an archivist from the Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre will explain what records are available and how these can help with family history research.
Prior to the talk, Margaret will be on hand between 10am and 12noon to offer advice on family and local history research.
The talk costs £1.50 for library members and £2.50 for non-members.
