The music store, after closing in March this year, will be reopening on Thursday 22 August; ready to once again provide customers with the latest music, films and games plus much more.
A spokesman for HMV said: “We are delighted to be reopening the HMV store in Swindon. HMV Swindon has always been a valued store within the HMV estate.”
The reopening of the store has also elicited positive comments from Heydar Faramarzi; the president of Swindon Chamber of Commerce.
He said “The more shops and stalls like HMV moving to Swindon is better news for everyone and is a sign that things are improving. I know the economy is getting back on its feet and with stores like HMV it is promoting the retail side of the town to encourage other businesses.”
Rebecca Rowland, inSwindon Bid Manager commented, “Shoppers and retailers alike will be delighted with the return of such a popular music store; which can only give us more hope that the town will continue to thrive despite the current economic climate.”
So for your latest entertainment requirements pay HMV a visit on 22 August; they’ll be welcomed back with open arms.
