James Carroll of iEvil Games says Victory at Sea is a naval combat game for iOS, Android and PC where players take command of huge naval fleets in a desperate attempt to turn the tide of war.
"In the game the player will navigate fleets around the Atlantic, Pacific and the Mediterranean theatres, engaging in real time epic naval combat.
"Victory at Sea combines a simple touch control system with a large and detailed campaign that contains vast numbers of historically accurate ship variants, the likes of which have never been seen before on a mobile device. It will be easy to play but difficult to master.
"The iEvilGames team have been developing games for mobile devices since the beginning of the app store and being gamers with a love for strategic combat, they have been disappointed with the current lack of in-depth games of this genre on mobile devices.
"The aim is to make Victory at Sea the massive, immersive combat game all mobile devices deserve."
Victory at Sea is already a highly successful table top game made by Mongoose Publishing, the company behind the Judge Dredd Miniatures Game, A Call to Arms: Star Fleet and Babylon 5: A Call to Arms games.
The mobile game will encapsulate the vast amounts of information behind the table top game which will create an in depth and historically accurate naval combat video game. The iOS, Android & PC versions will also inherit the fast flowing rules that allows novices and veteran gamers alike to enjoy recreating the epic struggles between the mighty fleets of the era.
Why iEvil Games need your support
Victory at Sea is an ambitious project – and much, much larger than typical mobile games. Making a game this detailed takes a great deal of time.
Your Kickstarter funding will allow iEvilGames to:
• Continue the work already started on the Victory at Sea the mobile app.
• Hire extra talent for aspects such as, music, sound effects, 3D modeling and texturing
• Promote and market to help sell the game
• Spend the time it deserves to make this something special.
If you pledge, you can be involved in offering opinions on graphics, audio, game play and really be a part of the development process.
