Easter Fun has started at Roves Farm, near Highworth and the Easter Bunny is back by popular demand. He’s putting in appearances around the Farm every day, much to the delight of everyone. See his antics from one of the free tractor rides around the farm and catch him if you can!
There will be bottle feeding baby lambs, watching the cheeky piglets, and holding the easter chicks as well as other small animals. Children can have fun snipping, sticking and gluing, making fluffy chicks, paper flowers and bunny masks in the craft sessions.
Fun sessions with the Practised Longbow Archers will be repeated at Roves on Easter Sunday and Monday for children and adults to “have a go”. The Archers will be giving tips to anyone who would like to experience archery the ‘Robin Hood’ way!
Hours of play in the Big Bale Stack, the Indoor Slippery Slide, Ball Pool and the brilliant outdoor “Farmers Den” keeps everyone entertained. Smaller children will love the indoor heated soft play area and sandpit.
The newly refurbished Granary Tearoom will be serving hot and cold snacks and tasty homemade cakes.
Roves Farm has plenty of indoor areas for picnics, most of which are heated on chilly days.
The Roves Farm Visitor Centre is open every day, 10.30am – 5pm, during the Easter Holidays and then closed on Mondays and Tuesdays only, during term time in April and May.
