The month of October each year is Breast Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM) and each year Lynn Parfry organises a fundraising Pamper Night.
To raise awareness of Breast Cancer to the community of Swindon, Lynn Parfrey, who heads up the Wiltshire Group for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity, organises a Ladies Pink Pamper Night every October which raises much needed funds for the charity.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer (www.breakthrough.org) have just released their vision for 2025 and in doing so have announced that they are to enter into research on secondary breast cancers supporting the outstanding work that the charity has done to date on prevention and medication for primary breast cancers.
Lynn has organised these pamper nights for the past 5 years, and in doing so has raised in excess of £7000 for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. She also held a similar event in March this year to support the Swindon Phoenix Rotary Club in raising money to purchase the Mammography Biopsy Chair for the Breast Centre at the Great Western Hospital.
This year the event will be held on Thursday 3 October at the Marriott Hotel, Pipers Way, Swindon. Doors open at 7:30pm.
There will be a variety of trade stalls, arts and crafts selling beautiful gifts and in a separate quiet area there will be numerous therapeutic and relaxing treatments including massages, manicures, Reiki and other indulging treatments.
The Swindon Marriott Hotel offers a relaxing, safe and friendly surrounding where visitors to this event can have a drink in the bar or even indulge in a meal or snack, making the Marriott the ideal venue for a ‘girls night out’.
Entry to the event is just £5 per person in advance or £7 on the night and includes a complementary welcome drink on arrival.
Advanced tickets are available from Lynn, please email firstname.lastname@example.org, alternatively call or text 07530 948350.
