SOUTHAMPTON are keeping a firm eye on defenders Jack Stephens and Jordan Turnbull as they continue their footballing education with Swindon Town.
The duo are on loan at the County Ground from the Premier League side for the season and, along with Nathan Thompson, have formed a solid back three which is improving week on week.
The pair are due back at St Mary’s next week for a scheduled review, where they’ll look through a number of performances and talk about any issues, which Stephens says can prove helpful.
“We go back there and meet with them every six weeks to have a sit down and a review, we look back through some of the games which is good,” he said.
“We talk about what we find difficult and the things we found a little easier, basically talking through the games
“I think they send someone as much as they can but if they can’t get there then they always get sent the game on DVD.
“We’ve not been back for a while but they’re flying down there so hopefully they can continue that.”
