SWINDON Wildcats will make a late call on the fitness of teenage D-man Callum Buglass, prior to the home clash with Guildford tomorrow night.
The dual-registered Cardiff Devil suffered a concussion at Peterborough on October 5, which saw him miss both Cats games last weekend, but he has skated with Ryan Aldridge’s side prior to the game with Guildford.
However, a final decision on whether or not he will be involved this weekend has not yet been made.
Floyd Taylor has not appeared in a competitive game for Cats this season after also suffering a concussion, in the challenge win over Milton Keynes on September 3, but is set to return this weekend.
“Floyd will be back, 100 per cent, but Callum is touch and go,” Aldridge told Link Sport.
“Callum’s wasn’t as bad as Floyd’s but we can’t take chances. He skated last night and felt okay this morning but we’ll have to wait and see.”
Aldridge did admit one of his players is struggling with a minor injury, but is likely to play, but was keen not to release details in case either the Flames or the Bees took advantage of the weakness.
