TROY Batchelor may never have been to Leicester before but the Swindon skipper isn’t too concerned about finding his feet on an unknown track.
The Robins skipper missed his side’s victory at Beaumont Park earlier in the campaign due to his participation in Grand Prix qualifying, with the remaining Swindon riders producing a surprise 47-45 victory.
Batchelor is no stranger to pitching up at tracks he’s never ridden before, having done so in four Grand Prixs already this season, and will approach tomorrow’s match in much the same way.
“We won there at the start of the year but I wasn’t there, so it will be interesting,” he said.
“I’ve heard it’s a bit of a gater’s track so that’s something, but I’m not too stressed about it.
“I’m used to turning up at tracks I don’t know in the GP, so you just turn up with your stuff and work out the set-up from there.
“You obviously get the info from everyone else and work on things and hope it’s right.
“We’re going for some points and I’m confident we can get some.”
