MASSIMO Luongo is anticipating more interest in his services in the January transfer window after being the subject of interest of at least two clubs over the course of the summer.
Luongo, who last night made his first start for Australia in their 3-2 victory over Saudi Arabia, saw a £600,000 bid from Rotherham United turned down by Swindon Town, while Norwich City were also rebuffed with an approach.
With his stock growing rapidly in the domestic and international game, the former Tottenham Hotspur man is expecting to be in demand once more when the next window opens in the new year.
“That all comes with the decision for me and whether it’s the right choice or the right move for me,” Luongo told Fox Sports.
“I’ll have to wait until January now. I’m sure a few offers might come in but that’s far from my worries at the moment
“I’m just thinking about playing for Swindon every week, obviously keeping fit to hopefully keep playing here (with the Socceroos).”
