Roy Chubby Brown is back in Swindon town…get ready for a barn-storming night of jokes, banter and hilarious mickey-taking from Britain’s most outrageous comedian. Brown is well known for his instantly recognisable stage costume: flying helmet and goggles, multicoloured patchwork jacket and trousers, white shirt with a red bow tie and moccasins.
To younger audiences he is probably best known from The League of Gentlemen, who used his real name Royston Vasey as the namesake for the fictional town in the series. Brown also made several cameo appearances as the foulmouthed mayor of the town.
Come along to The Wyvern where you will laugh till it hurts as Chubby rips into his live audiences with a non-stop battering ram of laugh-out-loud comedy guaranteed. Get the hottest ticket in town but be warned – if easily offended please stay away.
Roy Chubby Brown is part of The Wyvern Theatre’s new Don’t Laugh On An Empty Stomach comedy offer, where prior to various comedians’ performances, audiences will now be able to enjoy an Indian buffet which will include a selection of authentic curries, poppadoms, pilau rice, warm naan bread and a refreshing cobra beer.
Pop down to The Wyvern Theatre on 6 October for an evening with Roy Chubby Brown and remember to book your curry.
