The workshop takes place on Thursday 18 August, 12-2pm and again 2.30-4.30pm.
Here at the Swindon Museum & Art Gallery we will teach you how to make your very own working camera.
You can spend a fun afternoon making your very own camera out of a matchbox and learn how to use it. In this creative pinhole photography workshop you will learn to construct a fully functioning, reusable film camera with step by step support from our Education leaders.
All children must be accompanied by an adult and the workshop costs just £3.50. You can book a place by calling 01793 466556.
While you are there you can take a look around our ‘Picture The Past’ Exhibition where you can see all sorts of cameras, including one which looks like a can of coca cola, smarties and some good old fashioned cameras from the 1920s onwards.
