What term do you use for a massive crowd of Santa Claus in one place? A mass, a collective, a workshop, a sleigh-ride?
Anyway 320 Santas of all ages came together on 9 December to make a dash around Coate Water in aid Prospect Hospice, running in either 2.5k or a 5k race.
Organised by North Wiltshire Hash House Harriers, they hope to have raised £2,000; last year the event resulted in £1,524.”
Sheryl Crouch, head of fundraising at Prospect Hospice, said: “It was a fantastic event and it is really great to see so much local support. From the hospice point of view, we are really thrilled that people are supporting it and raising money for us.”
