September is fast approaching and mother and daughter, Stella and Laura Mills, are busy preparing for the LONG challenge ahead…1000 miles of it. With their trusty steeds, a steel touring bike (Stella) and a aluminum road bike (Laura), they plan to cycle their way from Land’s End to John O’Groats.
They’ll be riding around 68 miles a day in aid of the Swindon Therapy Centre for Multiple Sclerosis which does so much for MS sufferers in the area including some good friends of theirs.
"Local charities, who rely on public generosity to keep going, are constantly fundraising," said Stella. "The scope of organisations like the MS therapy centre may be local, but their touch is personal – they make a REAL difference to people’s lives. This is exactly why they want to help.
Please help them to make this ride a valuable one!
